It all begun with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. Roller World Skating Rink in Clovis has been a place to go to for our community to create wonderful memories that last a lifetime! Lisa, her husband, Michael, and the rest of their family (including their Saint, JoJo), are happy to keep this tradition alive as only the third owners (purchased in June of 2025) of this small town rink since it was established back in 1980!

Michael is an Air Force Veteran and still serves as a contractor on Cannon AFB as an instructor since retiring in 2011. He was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, yet traveled the world while in the military before he and his wife, Lisa, and their three younger children settled down in Clovis in 2008 and they have called it "home" ever since. You'll see Michael skating sometimes, but he'd rather help out at the skate counter and he loves meeting new customers every time he goes there.

Lisa, being a lifelong skater herself, grew up mostly in Huntington Beach, California, during the 80's where she was able to skate on the boardwalk and make some great memories always skating with her friends and sister. She has been roller skating or rollerblading since before she was five years old and has brought up her five children to enjoy skating, too. Lisa was a volunteer at the rink for several years before she and Michael bought it in June of 2025. She really enjoys being at the rink to welcome new customers with a smile and loves seeing all the old, familiar faces, too, of customers she has become to know in the past few years. As a certified RSA instructor, Lisa loves helping customers of all ages by giving them tips on how to roller skate, when they need it, so she can keep the love of skating alive and enjoyed by everyone for years to come.
